Shooting for Curlgenetics

I was contacted to shoot Curlgenetics campaign image for the release of their new products: silk pillow cases.

Curl Genetics is a brand that caters to natural hair textures, providing hair extensions that blend perfectly with natural hair. You can find out more about the company and their products here:

The shoot was a lot of fun with the model consistently delivering. The story to image was that a lady is getting ready to sleep with her natural tresses from Curlgenetics on the silk pillow case they also provide.

Below is the chosen image they selected to run with for campaign.

Featured in FRUK Magazine Issue No. 2, an 8 page beauty spread.

This 8 page beauty spread incorporated the use of flowers as head gear. I love working with talented individuals, the creatives involved in this shoot were no exception. The floral head-dresses were created by the hairstylist and the wardrobe stylist to help produce these stand out images. Beauty is definitely one of my favourite styles to shoot, as my work continues to evolve I want to create more dynamic images in regards to concept, lighting and colour so stay tuned.

Shooting Lira for Glam Africa Autumn 2015 Cover and Spread

I had the pleasure of teaming up with GlamAfrica for a cover shoot and spread with South African singer Lira for their Autumn 2015 edition.

I reached out to make up artist Brenda Shonibare of BreelliantMUA who I previously worked with on a shoot with Ezinne CEO dancer and we worked alongside talented Stylist Crystal Deroche and Stylist assistant: Ecleechic for this 6 page spread.

The images were featured alongside an interview with Lira with a Bohemian vibe in styling.
